REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Kickapoo Town Hall, Readstown, Wisconsin

April 18, 2006

Kenneth Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Keith Larson, Don Clements, Burdette Nelson, Doreen O’Donnell, Bruce Hansen and Hugh Harper were in attendance.

 

Proof of proper notice was shown.

 

The Minutes of the April 3, 2006, meeting minutes were amended to note Robert Miller’s email which stated that it is an “error of fact” that the newsletter was not published for personal reasons, as was printed in the minutes. See attached email.

 

Nelson motioned to accept accounts payable of $6,531.99, which includes road maintenance patrolmen payroll and donations to Readstown EMS for the 2^nd quarter, Kickapoo Valley Rescue Squad, North Crawford Rescue Squad, and the Kickapoo Cemetery Association.

 

The Annual Road Inspection date and viewing of the Duanne Garrett property date is set for April 21, 2006, at 5 p.m. Board to meet at the town hall and proceed from there. Board will meet at the town hall to adjourn.

 

Open Book and Board of Review Dates: Assessor’s email of 4-04-06 stated, “The work roll will be turned in to the treasurer in the next week or so, and I will have dates to suggest then.” No dates yet.

 

Board read, and chairman and clerk signed the Livestock Siting Resolution 2006-1.

 

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the county sheriff’s department was signed by the chairman, a supervisor, and the clerk.

 

Clerk report: Board viewed the current UDC building permit report. Board approved allowing a website originating in Holland to include the town website as a link.

 

New Business: Bruce Hansen asked whether using used motor oil from town residents in the sealcoating could defray the cost. No- the cost to filter it to be used in the sprayer would be prohibitive.

 

Date for next meeting set for May 1, 2006, at 7 p.m.

 

Clements made motion to adjourn at 7:35 p.m. Nelson seconded. All in favor; motion carried.
