REGULAR BOARD MEETING
MINUTES
Kickapoo
Town Hall, Readstown,
Wisconsin
May 1, 2006
Ken Anderson opened the meeting at 7:03 p.m. Keith Larson, Don Clements, Burdette Nelson,
Doreen O’Donnell, and Bruce Hansen were present. Jim Holmberg arrived at 7:05 p.m. and Hugh Harper arrived at 7:32 p.m.
Proof of notice was shown.
Minutes of April
18, 2006, were approved, with Bruce Hansen stating that it is the
cost of filtering of used motor oil that is prohibitive, when used for
sealcoating.
Nelson motioned to approve accounts payable of $4,718.59.
Clements seconded. All in favor; motion carried.
Anderson
motioned to raise patrolmen salary $1.00 per hour. Nelson seconded. Clements
abstained. Motion carried.
Board approved dozing along the bank by Randy Halverson’s
mailbox on Lyster Rd. Board approved widening the
road near McNamur driveway for school bus to turn
around.
Open book date is set for May 27, 1- 3 p.m. Board of Review date is set for June 5, 10- noon.
Board viewed MFL Transfer Report.
New Business: Holmberg asked if any of the board had a copy
of a letter from Mead and Hunt dated 8-23-04. Prices of gravel set as $152.00 per 16-yard
load; $80 per 7-yard load, using town truck- tax included in both prices. Culverts
will now have a $35 delivery charge, with 2% above that for the township, plus
tax.
Next meeting date is set for Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at 7
p.m.

motioned to adjourn at 7:38 p.m.
Clements seconded. All in favor; motion carried.
