REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Kickapoo Town Hall, Readstown, Wisconsin

June 1, 2006

Chairman Ken Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Don Clements, Doreen O’Donnell, and Ron Uhe were in attendance. Burdette Nelson arrived at 7:17 p.m.

 

Proof of proper notice was shown.

 

The minutes of May 16, 2006 were approved as read.

 

Anderson motioned to approve accounts payable of $5,571.92. Clements seconded. All in favor; motion carried.

 

Anderson motioned to raise the per hour hire rate for the loader to $60; grader to $60; mower to remain at $50. Clements seconded. All in favor; motion carried.

 

Anderson motioned to apply for a credit card for the Kickapoo KWK Stop for gasoline purchases, as they will no longer accept house charges. Clements seconded. All in favor; motion carried.

 

New Business: Ron Uhe requested that the Board direct the advisory planning committee to put as an agenda item the set-up of a 90-day schedule in which two discussion meetings are set with the public to explain the relationship between the planning process and Village Powers, with the intent to have a third meeting to vote on Village Powers. A possible fourth meeting would be a public hearing on the comprehensive plan.

 

Next meeting date: June 15, 2006, at 7 p.m.

 

Clements motioned to adjourn at 8:42 p.m. Anderson seconded. All in favor; motion carried.
