REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Kickapoo Town Hall, Readstown, Wisconsin

August 1, 2006

Ken Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Karene Uhe, Don Clements, Burdette Nelson, and Doreen O’Donnell were in attendance.

 

Proof of proper notice was shown.

 

The minutes of July 17, 2006, stand as read.

 

Ken Anderson motioned to approve accounts payable of $94,078.77, which includes a payment to Scott Construction, and also the School Tax Credit to the county. Don Clements seconded. All in favor; motion carried.

 

Board signed letters to owners of narrow driveways.

 

The town is suspending its sales of gravel, as it has no more to sell.

 

New Business: Burdette and Don attended the county towns association picnic/meeting last week. They learned at the meeting that clerks are resigning because of the new election laws. Boards were encouraged to pay clerks mileage to and time spent at training seminars.

 

Next meeting date is August 15, 2006, at 7:00 p.m.

 

Ken made a motion to adjourn at 7:50 p.m. Don seconded. All in favor; motion carried.
