REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Kickapoo Town Hall, Readstown, Wisconsin

November 1, 2006

Chairman Ken Anderson called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Don Clements, Burdette Nelson, Keith Larson, Karene Uhe, and Doreen O’Donnell also attended.

 

Proof of proper notice was shown.

 

The minutes of October 18, 2006, stand as read.

 

Burdette motioned to approve accounts payable of $5,369.97. Ken seconded. All in favor; motion carried.

 

Board voted to support Vernon Telephone Cooperative bylaw changes.

 

Clerk’s Report: board viewed current UDC building report and MFL correction order; Insurance coverage- coverage on the building will be raised 6% at the next renewal. Ken is waiting for a return call regarding coverage on the new fuel tank.

 

Old business: review of town board minutes of 9-27-06; no changes.

 

New business: there is a sander available; Ken will check to see if they will accept a partial payment, with final payment after the first of the year.

 

Upcoming dates: Election on Nov. 7, 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Budget Hearing on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m.; Regular Board Meeting on November 14 at 7 p.m.

 

At 8:27 Burdette motioned to adjourn. Don seconded. All in favor; motion carried.
