REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Kickapoo Town Hall, Readstown, Wisconsin

December 4, 2006

Chairman Ken Anderson called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Don Clements, Burdette Nelson, Keith Larson, Karene Uhe, and Doreen O’Donnell attended.

 

Proof of proper notice was shown.

 

The minutes of November 14, 2006, were approved as read.

 

Burdette motioned to approve accounts payable of $9,023.22. Don seconded. All in favor; motion carried.

 

Revaluation update from assessor: he is currently gathering public records to help verify land uses.

 

Clerk’s report: Board viewed current UDC and MFL reports. Town and Country Sanitation requests that the Spring Cleanup Date be set soon, and noted that the date of April 28, 2007 is not available.

 

Old Business: The yield sign on Carter Mountain is installed. Karene asked about the County FEMA grant for radios for patrolmen. Ken has not been notified. Doreen will check on the cell phone contract stipulations, the contract set to expire in January. Karene also asked about the board making a priority list of roads to be sealcoated.  Doreen asked which third of the road signs will be replaced in 2007. Burdette noted that Viola is still using the dump in Kickapoo Township. The DNR is currently checking into the use of it.

 

New Business:  1/10 mile of a new road in the new subdivision on Carter Mountain is a Readstown Village street.

 

At 8:10 Don made a motion to adjourn. Burdette seconded. All in favor; motion carried.
