REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Kickapoo Town Hall, Readstown, Wisconsin

January 31, 2007

Ken Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Keith Larson, Burdette Nelson, Don Clements, Karene Uhe, Doreen O’Donnell, Chuck Norman, and Ray Hummel were in attendance.

 

Proof of proper notice was shown.

 

The minutes of January 17, 2007, stand as read.

 

Burdette made a motion to accept accounts payable of $6,005.16. Don seconded. All in favor; motion carried.

 

Assessor report via email:  “Work on classification of lands, and the visit of properties continues in the town.”

 

Old Business: No word on the fuel tank replacement. Emergency Management has not heard anything about the radio grant for the Town of Kickapoo.

 

New Business: Board instructed clerk to see if it is lawful to put a vote for Village Powers on the April 3^rd ballot. If the answer is “yes,” than the question will be decided in April.  Burdette made a motion to this effect. Don seconded. All in favor; motion carried.

Burdette requested that a running balance be reported during the treasurer’s report.

 

The date for the next meeting was set for February 15, 2007, at 6:00 p.m.

 

At 7:50 Ken made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Don seconded. All in favor; motion carried.
