REGULAR
BOARD MEETING MINUTES
Chairman
Ken Anderson called the meeting to order at
Proof of
proper notice was shown
Robin Davis of the Kraemer Company was present for
opening of the bid for gravel of which only one (by Kraemer) was
submitted. A solitary bid for seal
coating was submitted by Scott Construction (no rep. present) was also opened. Upon
review by the town board Don motioned that both bids be accepted and Ken
seconded. All in favor, motion carried.
The minutes of the
Treasurer’s Report – Checking
$90,923.16; Savings 60,791.93; and a CD of 26,400. Karene also suggested money be transferred
from checking to savings to get interest. Don motioned to approve, Ken
seconded, all in favor, motion carried.
Upon review of Payables, Don made a motion to approve total disbursements
of $3,375.27 which included postage, printing and envelopes for distributing
the Comprehensive Plan, totaling $926.48. Ken seconded. All in favor; motion
carried.
Old Business.
Jay Walsh reported to the Town Clerk that he will be finished
with his assessing by April 30th.
New Business
Ken suggested that two issues be brought up at the
rescheduled annual meeting, that of village powers and the town plowing snow
from private driveways. Dave Edgar,
Village Pres. of Readstown stopped in and requested that the town donate two
buckets of gravel for a playground area. This was approved for consideration at
the next board meeting. Also submitted for consideration by board is a
resolution agreeing that the Town of
Audience to
visitors.
Doreen O’Donnell requested to read a letter submitted by
Steve Burns regarding the issue in favor of Comprehensive Planning, per attached.
