REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Kickapoo Town Hall, Readstown, Wisconsin

May 16, 2007

Ken Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Don Clements, Ray Key, Keith Larson, Bill Putze, Larry Coleman, Ray Hummel, and Bruce Olson and Maynard Cox from the Vernon County Sheriff’s Department were in attendance.

 

The Sheriff’s department gave a presentation on the county’s proposed Uniform Addressing/Road Naming System ordinance. If the ordinance is adopted by the county, new fire numbers will be horizontal, larger, and easier to read.

 

Ken motioned to approve accounts payable. Don seconded. All in favor; motion carried.

 

Ray made a motion for the town to quit selling gravel and doing any private work. Don seconded. All in favor; motion carried.

 

Don made a motion to send Metco a check for $500 for a variance for the fuel tank. Ray seconded. All in favor; motion carried.

 

Next meeting date is tentatively set for May 31, 2007, at 7 p.m. Rescheduled for June 4, 2007.

 

Ken made motion to adjourn at 8:30. Don seconded. All in favor; motion carried.
