REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Kickapoo Town Hall, Readstown, Wisconsin

January 7, 2008

Chairman Ken Anderson called the meting together at 7:00 PM, Ray Key. Don Clements, Karene Uhe, Harley McMillen, Doreen O’Donnell, Ray Hummel, and Eric Gilgenbach were in attendance.

 

Proof of proper notice was shown.

 

The minutes of December 19, 2007, stand as read.

 

Ken made a motion to accept the Rural Insurance Bid and Don seconded the motion. The total Rural Insurance Bid was for $3780.00.

 

Don Motioned and Ray seconded to approve Accounts Payable in the amount of $17,030.44.

 

Bids were to be placed in The Epitaph for Sealcoating and gravel.

 

The agreement between Vernon County and the Kickapoo Township for the Statewide Voter Registration System was signed by Ken Anderson. The original will be delivered to Ray Hoff for his signature and a copy will then be placed in our payables for $300.00

 

Ray asked when the web site would be updated. Eric volunteered to take a digital picture of the Board at the next meeting.

 

Audience to Visitors:  Board entertained questions from Eric Gilgenbach and Doreen O”Donnell

 

Ken Anderson asked that an item for next meeting would be who can declare a “Disaster  and or Snow Emergency.”

 

The next meeting was set for Tuesday, January 22, 2008.  REMINDER: PROPERTY TAX COLLECTION DATES ARE JANUARY 19 AND 26, 10 A.M. – 2 P.M.

 

Ken adjourned the meeting at 8:10 PM.
