TOWN OF KICKAPOO
REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES
Kickapoo Town Hall, Readstown, Wisconsin
April 10, 2008
Call to order at 5:32.
Proof of proper notice was presented.
Ray made motion to go into closed session, Ken seconded.
Discussion of employee benefits and wages.
Ray made motion to go into open session, Ken seconded.
Ray made motion to increase Steve's wages to $16.50 and the insurance benefit will be $50 every two weeks. Kenny seconded, Don abstained. Motion passed.
Minutes of March 25th meeting. Minutes stand as read.
Approve accounts payable. Ken made motion to approve, Don seconded.
Treasurers report. We received our State transportation aides.To prepay our loan there is no penalty when paying a lump sum, however the loan is supposed to be rewritten when prepaying. We need to know how much money we need to keep on hand before paying too much of the loan off. We haven't opened the sealcoat and gravel bids yet.
We will decide at our next meeting as we will have a better idea because we can open the bids after April 13th
Harley's return as clerk. Harley read a letter from his doctor stating that he is released to return to work. Al and Harley will coordinate Harley's return.
Set date for next meeting. Tuesday April 29th at 6:00PM.
Ken motioned, Don seconded. Meeting adjourned at 6:45PM
