TOWN OF KICKAPOO
REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES
Kickapoo Town Hall, Readstown, Wisconsin
July 30,2008
Attendees: Ken Anderson, Ray Key, Don Clements, Karene Uhe, Harley McMillen,
Ray Hummel
Meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM. Proof of proper notice was given.
Minutes from the July 15, 2008 were approved as read.
Approve accounts payable by a motion of Don Clements and seconded by Ken Anderson.
The clerk reported that back ups to the financial system were being made. One copy is kept in the locked fire proof cabinet and one copy is kept at the clerk's home. The Clerk announced he will be attending a mandatory training session in Fitchburg on August 5, 2008.
The fee for Building Permit application is to go to the chairman of the Board by a motion made by Ray Key and seconded by Don Clements.
A motion was made by Ken Anderson and seconded by Ray Kee that all work done by the board supervisors will be reimbursed at the rate of full time pay to patrolman.
A motion was made by Don Clements and seconded by Ray Kee that the Chairman of the
Board will be reimbursed for a $1.00 per dog plus mileage.
The board clarified the position from previous minutes that the clerk is to be reimbursed the federal rate for postings. The mileage is 17 miles for three postings.
Ray Kee made a motion and seconded by Don Clements that the Township Board will meet two times a month.
The chairman announced that seal coating will begin the 2nd week of August.
Date for next meeting is Friday, August 15 at 6:00 PM.
Ken Anderson made a motion to adjourn and Ray Kee seconded the motion.. The meeting was adjourned at 6:40 PM.
