TOWN OF KICKAPOO
SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MINUTES
KICKAPOO TOWN HALL READSTOWN, WISCOSNIN
6:30 PM
August 25, 2009
Attendees: Jeff Clements, Burdette Nelson, Andy Kellogg, Harley McMillen, Karene Uhe, Clarence Hummel, Dave Edgars, Linda Mabb, Anthony Claire, Shawn Mills, Philip Townsend, Cheryl Halverson, Randy Halverson
Meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M.
The Village Fire Department requested that the Kickapoo Township participate in the Rural Development grant to purchase a new 2,000 gallon tank for the fire department. The township would provide the 25 per cent charge and the agency, Rural Development, would provide the 75 % cost. It is estimated our cost would be in the range of $30,000.
Jeff Clements made a motion to participate in the purchase of the wanter tanker. Andy Kellogg seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. There was a request from the Kickapoo Township that when the old tanker is sold, those monies remain within the fire department operations.
Burdette Nelson made a motion to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Andy Kellogg. The meeting adjourned at 7:45 PM
