REGULAR BOARD MINUTES

KICKAPOO TOWN HALL READSTOWN, WISCOSNIN

6:30 P.M.

September 8, 2009



Attendees: Jeff Clements, Burdette Nelson, Andy Kellogg, Harley McMillen, Ray Hummell, Darrell Alexander, Steve Clements


Meeting was called to order at 6:30 P.M.


Proof of Proper notice was provided. Minutes of the September 8, 2009 were read and approved by a motion of Andy Kellogg and seconded by Jeff Clements.


The date of the Fall Clean Up was set for October 3, the first Saturday in October,


Burdette Nelson made a motion to approve the accounts payable in the amount of $35,763.20. with a second by Jeff Clements


New Road Signs will be reviewed and a list of those roads that intersected with Highway 131 and Highway 14 were given as top priority for replacement necessitated by the state's new guidelines for the reflectivity and size of the numbers and wording on the signs. The list of signs needed will be Church Road, Sugar Grove Road, Mango LA, Moore Rd, School Rd, Parsonage Rd, Riley Rd, McCarty Rd, W. River Rd.

A Personnel Policy Manual was postponed till the next meeting. Copies will be available to all employees. Any resident wishing to read the manual should contact the clerk's office.


No building permits were issued for the month of August. The Dog Count will be completed by the Road Crew and the Chairman. The results of that poll were that there were 83 addresses that had dogs with a total dog count of 111 dogs reported. The count was turned into the County Clerk's Office and the township will be reimbursed 50 cents per dog. No charges were incurred in obtaining the dog count.


The date for the next regular scheduled board meeting is Tuesday October 13, 2009 at 6:30 PM.


Jeff Clements made a motion to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Andy Kellogg. The meeting adjourned at 7:45 PM
